This Information is Current as of March 24, 2020:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently affecting our nation, both the Florida Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida have issued order concerning the status of jury trials and other hearings.

Both Courts have temporarily suspended trials and all non-essential proceedings until mid-April (state) and late April (federal) of this year. Consequently, both Courts have tolled speedy trial time during the same period.

State court bond hearings and arraignments and federal court initial appearances and pretrial detention hearings remain unaffected.
